Shinepukur Ceramics receives 'National Export Trophy'

Shinepukur Ceramics Limited - country's leading ceramic manufacturer and largest ceramic exporter received National Export Trophy from Bangladesh Government for highest export in ceramics for the Year 2009-2010. Mr. Nazmul Hassan MP, Managing Director, Shinepukur Ceramics Ltd received this award from the Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in an award giving ceremony which was held at the Osmani Memorial Hall on Wednesday, 30th November 2011. Its worth mentioning that since commencement of export in 1999, Shinepukur Ceramics Ltd has been contributing more than 60% in the total national export in ceramic tableware sector and have also been previously awarded National Export Trophy (Gold) for record three (3) times, i.e. for the Year 2000-2001, 2002-2003 and 2005-2006 by the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh for highest export made during the period. Shinepukur is the only ceramic manufacturing company in Bangladesh to receive this highest national accolade for export for record four (4) times. On this occasion, Mr. Nazmul Hassan MP, Managing Director of the company said, ' Shinepukur has been recognized yet again by the Country's highest award and we consider this as an extraordinary and milestone achievement for the Company. The Company is serving the nation's economy by producing world class ceramic tableware and exporting to more than 35 countries since 1999.' On behalf of Shinepukur, company's Chief Operating Officer Mr. Rizvi Ul Kabir and few other high officials of the company were also present in this award giving ceremony.
